Maxpower Planet Pet Grooming Brush – Double Sided Shedding

This grooming brush is amazing! I have a long hair German Shepherd Duke who loves to swim and then he rolls around in the grass. I recently noticed his back, above his tail, the undercoat had a lot of areas of matting. So when this came I did it a little at a time. Getting small ones out and then the larger matting areas. This tool is life changing. Small gentle stroke, repeat, repeat, repeat! A little one day, a little more the next. He is now almost matt free and I have only had this brush for 4 days. I also used it on my kitty, Gypsy. She is 13 and a little chubby so hard for to reach the top of her back near the tail also. She didn’t have many matts but those came out quickly. Now she just likes being combed with it. Great product! Highly recommend!!!

We have a cat with a double coat, and he gets a lot of mats in his undercoat. I have tried all sorts of different brushes to help him, and nothing has worked as well as this has so far. It doesn’t seem to bother him as much as the others have, and it is much easier for me to use. He used to only let me use the other brushes for a minute or two before he would get distressed and bite at them, but this one I was able to brush him for 10 minutes or so without any complaints. It pulled out a lot of loose hair and made his coat feel a lot better. We haven’t had a chance to use it for de-matting yet, but I get the feeling it will be a step up from everything else we have tried!

My cat sheds an ungodly amount of fur every spring and unfortunately, she doesn’t really love getting brushed. She kinda likes the slicker brushes but they don’t remove hair as efficiently. The furminator removed a lot of hair but it pulled on her fur too much and she absolutely hated it.This brush removes a significant amount of fur in a gentle way that my cat will tolerate. I still wouldn’t say she loves it, but it lets me get enough fur off of her to reduce the number of hairballs I have to clean up. I wish it had a more convenient way to collect the fur off the brush but it’s not that big of a deal and still my favorite brush to use on her.

Seriously, this should come with every Siberian Husky. It makes grooming much easier.I thought I was doing a good job with all my other brushes and combs and de-shed products (shampoos, conditioners, brushes, combs). Nope. This put them ALL to shame. I feel bad I didn’t find this sooner. Now, I get so much more fur out in less time. This is now “my precious”.Use the side with less teeth first and then go back with the other side. Also, remove the fur before turning it over to use the other side. I got lazy once and only once. You’ll spend more time removing fur from this. It’s easier and faster to remove the fur before you flip it over.Highly recommend and my babies are happier. And grooming Huskies isn’t the easiest. Lol. They’re dramatic whiney talkers that think you’re going to make them naked or drown them. It’s very entertaining. My mom loves grooming days. She spends more time laughing than helping.

I was having a hard time with my long haired dog and gave this thing a try. I did not have high hopes because it didn’t look like much of a tool, but on the first pass I got a large glob of undercoat. Somehow this thing gets the undercoat out and leave the long hair. There is some tugging but not too bad. Still gonna be a lot of work but at least it works. Grateful.
